The more you meditate, the more helpful you can be to others, and the more deeply you will be in tune with God. Selfish people remain spiritually hidebound, but the unselfish expand their consciousness. When you find your omnipresence in meditation, you will find God. If He is pleased with you, all nature will work in harmony with you. Learn to talk to Him with all your soul.

God is approachable. Talking to Him and listening to His words in the scriptures, thinking of Him, feeling His presence in mediation, you will see that gradually the Unreal becomes real, and this world which you think is real will be seen as unreal.
There is no joy like that realization.

“Give your troubles to God. When you worry, it is your funeral, all arranged by yourself. You don’t want to be buried alive by your anxieties!
Why suffer and die every day from worry?
No matter what you are going through- poverty, sorrow, ill health- remember that somebody on this earth is suffering a hundred times more than you are. Do not consider yourself so unfortunate, for thus you defeat yourself, and close out the omnipresence light of God that is ever seeking to help you……”

Let us forget the sorrows of the past and make up our minds not to dwell on them in the New Year. With determination and unflinching will, let us renew our lives, our good habits, and our successes. If the last year has been hopelessly bad, the New Year must be hopefully good.

“If you want to be happy, learn to live alone and to plunge into introspection about every experience- good books, problems, religion, philosophy, and inner happiness. Contented, self-chosen, habitual seclusion is the price of real happiness. When you are forced into a crowd of talkers, retire within the cell of your deep thoughts and enjoy the peace of your inner fountain of silence.”

- You will tire of all things quickly once you have them, but there is one thing you will never be tired of, either now or throughout eternity, and that is the ever new Joy realized in God-contact. Such Joy can only be found in deep meditation.
- Happiness depends to some extent upon external conditions, but chiefly upon mental attitudes. In order to be happy one should have good health, a well-balanced mind, a prosperous life, the right work, a thankful heart, and above all, wisdom or knowledge of God.
- God has proven that when He is with me all the “necessities of life” become unnecessary. In that consciousness you become more healthy than the average person, more joyous, more bountiful in every way. Don’t seek little things; they will divert you from God. Start your experiment now:make life simple and be a king.
- Be always with people who inspire you; surround yourself with people who lift you up. Do not let your resolutions and positive thinking be poisoned by bad company. Even if you cannot find good company to inspire you, you can find it in meditation. The best company you can have is the joy of meditation.
- Remember that as a child of God you are endowed with great strength than you will ever need to overcome all the trials that God may send you
- “God has send us with some mission. To be happy & live a good life is good but do not forget that to appease our soul we should do something good in life like helping others by providing food to poor or whatever little help you can do
- Always remember our Sai has said that what you give you get back and plus by making others happy also gives us peace and satisfaction to our mind and soul.”
- Your highest happiness lies in your being ever ready in desiring to learn, and to behave properly. The more you improve yourself, the more you will elevate others around you. The self- improving man is the increasingly happy man. The happier you become, the happier will be the people around you.
- The Lord is the Mother of all mothers, the Father of all fathers, the One Friend behind all friends. If you always think of Him as the nearest of the near, you will witness many wonders in your life. “He walks with me and He talks with me and He tells me I am His own.”
- Work, eat, walk, laugh, cry, meditate—only for Him. That is the best way to live. In so doing you will be truly happy serving Him, loving Him, and communing with Him.
- Keep busy doing constructive things for your own self-improvement and for the benefit of others, for whoever would enter God’s kingdom must try also to do good for others every day. If you follow this pattern, you will feel the mood-dispelling joy of knowing you are advancing, mentally, physically, and spiritually.
- Our only savior is our will power. Will is the switch that controls everything in this universe. If you don’t exercise your will power, you will be a weakling, easily influenced by your environment. Development of the will is the secret of magnetism. Men of success are men of great will power. When you develop will, no matter how you are pounded down by life, you rise again and say, “I am successful. I can win.”
- Every day try to help uplift those physically, mentally, or spiritually sick as you would help yourself or your family. If, from today, instead of living in the old misery-making selfish way, you live scientifically according to the laws of mind and of God, then, no matter what little part you may be playing on the stage of life, you will know that you have been playing your part well, as directed by the Stage Manager of all our destinies. And remember, your part, however small, is just as important as the biggest parts in contributing to the entire success of the Drama of Souls on the stage of Life.
- If you can retain your inner peace, therein lies your supreme victory. No matter how you are situated in life, never feel justified in losing your peace. When that is gone and you cannot think clearly, you have lost the battle. If you never lose your peace, you will find you are always victorious, no matter what the outcome of your problems. That is the way to conquer life.

Learning to Behave
” Strive always with utmost effort to overcome unspiritual qualities, but do not be discouraged if it takes a long time. The Lord is not interested in how long it takes us to banish our faults–His chief concern is that in thought and action we continuously resist our wrong tendencies.”
